Claimed my certificate number did not exist
I received a SuperCertificate reward card for a Christmas present.v when I tried to redeem it by putting in the certificate #, the response kept indicating that the number did not exist. I tried to submit it a half a dozen times with the same result. I was quite upset because the certificate was worth $50.00. Maybe I'll try again tomorrow.

Bad service and pitiful delivery times
Been waiting for 2 months for a gift certificate from them when you call up there customer service they give you nothing but attitude and are very condescending. No idea how these people stay in business. Stay away from these people at all cost I think basically there a scam. This was a company bought gift certificate that they are not following through on.

I strongly believe this is a scam. Online status indicates the certificate was emailed 4 days after the order was placed. Never got that email. Email re-send requested through online portal. That email never came. Called customer service. Rep claimed "I'm sending now while on phone. What other email address could I copy? It could take few mins." That email never came. I placed a follow-up call to customer service: "Email could take up to 24 hours." Me to rep: "Really? 24 hours? For an email?" Rep in very annoyed voice: "Yes." I am grateful for my company's effort to reward me but maybe this is the wrong effort. By the way, last experience with this same company required a follow-up call, then several days waiting for e-certificate. Good luck to you!

Giftcertificates - Gift Certificate Review from Pascoag, Rhode Island
This company is awful. This is a reward I redeem through work points so unfortunately I have no other option, but it's always a bad experience. Everytime I order an electronic gift certificate with a "3-5 day waiting period" I end up waiting weeks because they are on "back order"....I do not recommend and intend to inform my work they should not use this company anymore. All my coworkers experience similar bad customer service issues.

They do not keep adequate inventory of gift cards for merchants. I have been waiting for a week to receive an electronic certificate and they informed me that it may take another week to process. Since the order is for Amazon gift cards they claim that it is a delay in processing through Amazon. However, anyone who deals with Amazon is familiar with their speedy processing. I am also waiting for other merchants also on backorder. I can not get the situation resolved and am still fighting with this company. Due to their low inventory issues and extended wait times, I would not recommend this company to anyone.

Will never order from this company again
I ordered the e gift certificate as a last minute gift. Still no email with the e gift certificate. I'm on my way to the store now as the party is this evening and will have to purchase another gift certificate since mine was never sent. I will never order from this company again.I found the site on ebates and trust ebates totally but will review these types of websites more thoroughly next time. So much for having the gift available in a convinient way to just print and head to the party. Never again with giftcertificates.com. Don't bother with this company.

Gift Certificates.com - disorganized & unresponsive
I ordered a Supercertificate for my daughter's birthday ($100) and it was to be delivered by e-mail. I called late in the afternoon to ask why it had never gone to her e-mail account and they said that they were having problems with their on-line site. She took all the information again and sent the notice to my daughter -- all along she assured me I would not be billed twice. Low and behold, my daughter was sent another notice a few days later that she had a Supercertificate waiting. She knew this was an error and informed me right away. I went onto my bank to look at the debits -- and guess what -- billed TWICE. Once on 11/30/08 and again on 12/05/08. I called the customer service line many, many times and was always on hold with the message that they were experiencing higher than normal volume. On more than one occasion I remained on hold with my phone on speaker while I worked in my office. Over the course of HOURS my phone call was never picked up. I went to the on-line customer service site and entered the information three times and have never received a reply or been acknowledged in any other way. Finally I spoke to a live person by calling a number where you are to report lost cards. He directed me to yet another number and gave me a name. I have left numerous messages at this phone number and still do not get any response. I had thought we might utilize this service for business purposes, but I am so glad haven't done so yet. It would have been professionally embarrrassing to have this happen to a client. I wonder if I will ever get a refund or if they are going out of business or what????

I purchased a giftcertificate for christmas which would be delivered through email. After I purchased it I relized it was the email address. Tried to call their 1800 number since December 22 and have had no luck anyone picking up the phone, emails have gone unanswered. This is December 28. Email form says they would answer within 24 hours, no such luck. Today I have been on the phone for 2 hours so far and still no one will pick up they claim high call volume. I will never again us this service. They must have given their employees vacation time,

The same thing happens to me everytime I order a physical GC or e-card and they are not helpful nor seem too concerned with maybe changing their timeframes on cards b/c they NEVER come during the time frame they say. I also have to use them due to my employer using them for rewards and recognition. I am thinking about telling them about the bad experience I always have so they can change to a new vender.
